In terms of GRC drawing deepening, for most projects, GRC design can not be called as “design”. The drawings are given by design institutes, Component sections are designed by design institutes, designers only need to withdraw that component sections, consider at most the parts covered by stone materials or thermal insulation materials. It is not design in the real sense. But what exists is reasonable, since there is a kind of career called GRC designer, we will talk about a few points on GRC deep designing. Trust it is not difficult for being GRC designers with those points, the difficult point is that if the designer’s mind is open enough or not.

First, we shall have enough concern of drawing, here I mean extended concern, not only explanation of drawings’ concept. We usually see drawings often, the products you bought always have instructions, actually that we can treat those instructions as drawings. Like electrical appliance, furniture, electronic products, especially the types of assembly，you did not graduated from that major, but you can assemble those parts by reading the instructions, is that magic? Why? It means that the instructions wrote the points, can let the person who does not understand understands, they succussed. Think, the instructions combined text and pictures, if you are educated a bit, you can understand, so it is convenient to assemble. Let’s come back to GRC drawings draw by our designers. If we let one person who does not know to assemble, if he is able to assemble by using our drawing? It seems that it is not possible in most cases. One simple component section, a size was marked at most in the drawing, if we use it to manufacture, there must be one factory manager who is good at manufacturing is able to manufacture correctly. Otherwise you will lose your temper after products are manufactured. Who can be blamed? It is because that the designer’s drawing is not good or correct. We always said that we shall manufacture based on the drawings, construct based on the drawings, if you can not draw the drawing properly, how is people able to manufacture and construct? So, we must stress, that a piece of good drawing shall include below points to be good:

1. Accuracy of Drawings. Accuracy is comparatively spoken, since considering that the quality of local main contractor’s structure is good or bad, it is almost not possible to construct based on the drawings strictly. However, ten thousand steps back, if your drawing is not correct at first place, the following will become more and more wrong. You should know that, the following procedure’s quality will be discounted. Error, every manufacture step has error, the caused result is that the final error is much bigger than the beginning’s. Products can not be installed, your forming procedures have been done for nothing, wasting and disbursing. Everyone shall understand the principle, I shall not stress anymore, so the first condition for being designer is that the attitude shall be precise, especially for size, must be sensitive, can not be Ma Da Ha, Ma Da Ha is not suitable for being a designer, it is harmful for the Company in the end to force Ma Da Ha to be designer.

2. Good Readability of Drawings, what we called good readability of drawing is type-setting of component in drawings. Where shall elevations be drew, where shall sections be drew, where shall plane figure be drew, where shall detail map be drew, there are always rules, but your designers did not learn systemically, some start halfway, it is not surprised that they do not know. However, remain essentially the same despite all apparent changes, if you wish the drawing can be read comfortable，you should stand on the perspective of readers, your drawings are drew for other people to read, not for yourself’s reading, if you want other people to commend your drawing, you should consider the other people. Imagine, when we read newspaper, every paragraph of one article is not in one page, moreover even no indication. You will lose interest to read, wont you? Since you need to find out where is that article’s sequel.

3. Drawing’s Aesthetic Degree. Drawing is the face of one designer. Ugly drawings are like one person who is ragged and slovenly，it is uncomfortable when look at that person, I believe that everyone is unwilling to read that kind of drawing even that they are accurate and easily read. Because it is difficult to read, specially sizes marked in drawings, generally speaking, horizontal and vertical size marks in drawings shall not cross, if the size lines crossed, you do not know how many brain cells you will spend. Additionally, in terms of notes in drawings, it is forbidden to use different font and different size, even though other people will say nothing, they will not approve your drawings. Writing teachers said that handwriting shall be clear when we are young, otherwise we can not get high scores, drawings are the case too.

4. Text Descriptions in Drawings. I found out that a lot designers share one biggest shortcomings, i.e., there are only shapes and sizes mark, no text descriptions can be saw. It lets other people to guess, it is easier if there are only simple shapes, if they are drawings with steel frame, if there are no text descriptions, how can other people figure out: sizes of steel frame, galvanizing or not, how big and how long the screws are, how big the inserted parts are, how to deal with jointed parts, how fixed points distribute. It draws the people who read the drawings crazy if front-mentioned cannot be described clearly. Actually, I call this kind of drawings as wasted drawings, the quality of the drawings is zero.  

5. Cost saving shall be considered when drawing. GRC companies are profit- making companies, why they run if no profit can be made. If No.3 angle steel can be used, No. 5 angle steel certainly shall not be used, if angle steel can be used, certainly U-steel shall not be used, to reduce one inserted part in every possible case. Looks like that one more component is not a lot, however counting all surely will not be a little. Size of mold and mold unloading shall be considered too. Sizes of mold must be decided by total amount, there are rules for what component shall use steel mold, what component shall use wooden mold, what component shall use glass steel mold, what component shall use silica gel mold, what component shall use cement mold, what component shall use plaster mold. Mold has using frequency and life, if you can not maximize mold’s utilization ratio，the profit you made shall be less than others. 

In conclusion, how important for having one good designer. Drawing the drawing correctly only can not be called as designer, they are basic skills for designers to draw drawings correctly and beautiful. The most important is to save cost by using your drawings, to make profits maximumly, to save cost for clients at the same time. Doing business wont be long if not win-win case.
